Itinerary day by day
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, start your journey to Tarangire National Park, about 118 km from Arusha. Enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its elephants and big baobab trees. You will also see animals like lions, zebras, and wildebeests near the Tarangire River. Have a picnic lunch during your drive and later, head to Mto wa Mbu village for dinner and overnight at Kizumba Camp (Full Board).
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint and can visit the famous Olduvai Gorge (optional). After a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate, continue with a game drive in the central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Public Campsite (Full Board).
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Start your day with a sunrise game drive, the best time to see wildlife. After the morning drive, return to camp for brunch, or choose to continue exploring the Serengeti with a full day game drive. Meals and overnight at Seronera Public Campsite (Full Board).
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, go on another game drive in the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might see the Great Migration along with predators like lions and cheetahs. After lunch, travel to Ngorongoro with a game drive on the way. Dinner and overnight at Simba Public Campsite on the crater rim (Full Board).
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day game drive. The crater is home to elephants, zebras, lions, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
