Day 01: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

At 8:30 AM, depart from your hotel with packed lunches. Drive about 118 km to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third largest national park, known for its big herds of elephants. Enjoy the scenic baobab trees and spot diverse wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, around the Tarangire River, the park’s only water source. Your guide will serve lunch at a designated picnic site. In the evening, drive to Mto wa Mbu village for dinner and overnight stay at Kizumba Campsite (FB).

Day 02: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at viewpoints overlooking the crater and the optional Olduvai Gorge archaeological site. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site upon entering Serengeti through Naabi Hill gate. Spend the afternoon viewing wildlife on your way to central Serengeti, arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Public Campsite (FB).

Day 03: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti, where you might see nocturnal predators returning from their hunt. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Experience a game drive en route to the crater rim, where you will have dinner and overnight at Simba Public Campsite (FB). Drop Off: Tiffany Diamond Hotel (BB).

Day 04: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater floor for a tour with a picnic lunch. Look out for a variety of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, elephants, ostriches, lions, and leopards. With some luck, you might spot the black rhino. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha at a leisurely pace, arriving in the evening and dropping you off at your hotel.
