Day 1: Departure from Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

Departing from Dar es Salaam at 0700hrs in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle, we journey to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as the Selous Game Reserve. Lunch awaits us at Rufiji River Camp, followed by a serene sunset boat cruise along the Rufiji River. Our first night will be spent at Rufiji River Camp, where dinner and overnight accommodation are provided.

Day 2: Wildlife Safari in Nyerere National Park

Today, we embark on an exhilarating full-day game drive within Nyerere National Park. Accompanied by a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, we traverse the park in our 4×4 safari vehicle with an open-hatched roof, ideal for uninterrupted wildlife viewing and photography. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of species including Waterbuck, southern reedbuck, and bushbuck. A specially chosen spot for lunch offers further wildlife viewing opportunities. As the day draws to a close, we return to Rufiji River Camp for sunset viewing, dinner, and another comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Exploration and Return to Dar es Salaam

Commence the day with an invigorating early morning walking safari, escorted by an armed ranger. Explore the bush and riverbank surroundings, gaining intimate insights into the local ecosystem. After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Nyerere National Park as we journey back to Dar es Salaam. Drop-off at your hotel concludes our memorable safari experience. Departure: Mediterraneo to Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR)
